Can I assemble my own dock?

Yes, most of our customers successfully install their own docks. Your dock will arrive partially assembled or in separate cubes and parts, and two people can easily complete the final assembly and have it in the water in no time.

Our modular floating docks are designed for maximum versatility, with options to fit any boat size and configuration, including: Jet Skis, Double Jet Skis, Tinny, Boat, Commercial vessel and more.  

Float Docks can customise the size of your floating dock to suit any number or size of vessel. (up to 10 Tonne).   

Yes, we ship and install our modular docking systems throughout Australia. 

All Float Docks come with a five-year warranty. Accessories such as ladders have a one-year warranty.  

Float Docks are designed to be robust and typically do not require specific maintenance, making them a convenient and reliable choice.  

No, the High Molecular Weight Polyethylene used in our docks is softer than the gel coat and fiberglass of your boat, ensuring it does not damage your hull. It’s comparable to the impact of using a trailer or other boat lift.  

Permit requirements vary by location. In most cases, Float Docks Modular Docking Systems are considered temporary structures and may not require a permit. It’s best to check with your local council.  

Yes, many customers use our modular docking systems in marinas to protect and keep their boats clean. The docks can also be easily moved to another location by towing with a PWC or boat, loading onto a trailer, or disassembling and transporting.  

Yes, our docks are made from 100% recyclable materials and are environmentally friendly. They are engineered to withstand harsh wave action and are UV-stable, ensuring longevity without environmental impact.  

Yes, the dock can be used in shallow water and driven up to the shore. The cubes draw only about 5-10 cm of water with the craft off them. The dock flexes to allow for easy drive-on and can rest on the bottom during low tides or sit on dry ground. 

Our docks have a lifespan of 15-20 years, depending on usage and site conditions. Made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE), they feature enhanced interlocking designs for high tensile and impact strength.
